About The Position

Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School seeks a qualified Computer Science Teacher for a full-time position commencing at the start of the 2026-2027 school year. Our Computer Science Department offers a variety of courses including Introduction to Programming, Game Programming, and AP Computer Science Principles. Our courses stress algorithmic thinking and a project-based approach to learning. Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to): Teach a mix of computer science classes. Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the LS community. Plans lessons that meet the individual needs, interests and abilities of the students. Creates a classroom environment that is inclusive and productive, and maintains appropriate standards of classroom behavior. Provides timely and appropriate feedback to students, with progress reports as needed. Communicates with parents to discuss student progress. Pursues professional growth through activities in and out of school. Cooperates with other professional staff in supporting student learning. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred from an accredited college or university
  • Licensed, or eligible for licensure in Digital Literacy/Computer Science license (grades 5-12) by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education, to include Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) endorsement

Nice To Haves

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred
  • High School teaching experience preferred
