About The Position

The Computer Science Associate (Part-time) Instructor Pool at MiraCosta College is designed to create a pool of qualified instructors for potential future part-time teaching assignments across various campus locations. Requirements

• Master's degree in computer science or computer engineering, or a related approved degree.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering with a master's degree in a related field.
• Sensitivity to and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and develop instructional materials including presentations, lectures, and assignments.

Benefits

• Compensation ranging from $87.60 to $101.54 per hour based on education and experience.
