About The Position

The Computer Science Adjunct Faculty position involves teaching courses related to Digital Forensics, Cyber Law and Ethics, Network Forensics, and Cloud and Personal Device Forensics during the Spring 2026 semester. The faculty member is expected to teach in person and/or be certified to teach online, adhering to the course descriptions and syllabi published in the catalog. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, participating in assessments, and ensuring the availability of necessary teaching materials.

Requirements

• Master's Degree required.
• Some teaching experience is required.
• Unofficial college transcripts must be submitted prior to interview.
• Teaching experience at the community college level.

Responsibilities

• Teaches assigned courses in accordance with the description published in the catalog and the approved course syllabus.
• Incorporates interactive approaches, technologies, and methods into courses.
• Incorporates an appreciation of diverse lifestyles, cultures, and national perspectives into courses.
• Utilizes library resources, writing as an instructional method, and academic technologies in courses.
• Meets all scheduled class meetings and advises the Division Dean/Assistant Dean of absences in a timely manner.
• Maintains accurate grade and attendance records for students and submits required reports.
• Submits grades per published deadline.
• Participates in assessment of learning outcomes and uses results in course planning.
• Plans in advance to ensure availability of supplies, textbooks, and classroom equipment.
• Submits progress reports on students for counseling and discusses any problems requiring special attention.
• Adheres to College policies and procedures.
