About The Position

At Kyndryl, we design, build, manage and modernize the mission-critical technology systems that the world depends on every day. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Representative, Computer Operators to join our team in Boulder, Colorado. This is a full-time, onsite role that requires the candidate to work on a 24x7 support schedule, including any shift, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling and resolving incidents, monitoring, tracking, and reporting on the health, performance, system failures, and system availability.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years’ experience in an Operations environment.
  • At least 2 years’ hands-on experience working with Windows and Office products, including Word, Excel and Teams.
  • Must have excellent customer relations/communications skills.
  • Must have the ability to detect and troubleshoot problems and navigate independently.
  • Must be able to work an Alternate Work Schedule (AWS) to maintain 24x7 support (any shift, weekends, holidays).
  • Candidates will be required to pass stringent background checks.

  • Working knowledge of the Major Incident process.
  • Working knowledge of the Problem and Change processes.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Access Credentials and Entitlements System (ACES), Ansible Controller, BMC TrueSight (BNA), Confluence, Control-M, Data Loss Protection (DLP) Data Protection Suite Commcell Console, Dynatrace Enterprise Manager, FedIdentity, GitLab / GitHub, Grafana, Infoblox internet protocol administration (IPAM), Jenkins, Jira/Rally Collaboration Platform, MIR3, Okta, Omnibus, Privileged Session Manager (PSM), PuTTy / Secure CRT, Secure Virtual Desktop, ServiceNow/Configuration Management Database (CMDB), SevOne & Thousand Eyes, Splunk Enterprise, VMware vSphere, VMware Workspace ONE, WebSphere Admin Console.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve client issues via Service Now ticketing utilizing knowledge base articles.
  • Monitor, track, and report on the health, performance, system failures, and system availability.
  • Monitor for abnormalities to include unusual compute and resource utilization that detect potential indicators of compromise, performance issues, or misconfigurations.
  • Monitor and alert on infrastructure, system, service, and tool events.
  • Create and continuously assess monitoring, corollary alerting, and notification of incidents or issues to minimize event impact and increase remediation and service restoration times.
  • Continuously monitor the health and performance of systems via real-time dashboards tracking availability, uptime, capacity, utilization, and integrated third-party data.
  • View overall system health dashboard and send communications based on system health to product teams for any non-green status.
