Responsibilities
- Resolves common operating problems as defined in operating instructions.
- Handles Password Resets from the after hour support desk.
- Level 1 help desk routing if necessary.
- Submits programs, following a pre-determined schedule.
- Monitors job scheduler tool and associated logs.
- Determines incident criticality and responds appropriately based on impact of issue.
- Logs all relevant information.
- Keeps team apprised of any issue occurring during shift.
- Completes any training deemed necessary because of system upgrades or new processes.
- Assists with training of new computer operators (trainees).
- Has little or no responsibility after hours, shift changes may be required because of vacation or illness of another operator.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma, or equivalent required.
- AS degree in a related discipline preferred.
