About the position

Responsibilities

  • Resolves common operating problems as defined in operating instructions.
  • Handles Password Resets from the after hour support desk.
  • Level 1 help desk routing if necessary.
  • Submits programs, following a pre-determined schedule.
  • Monitors job scheduler tool and associated logs.
  • Determines incident criticality and responds appropriately based on impact of issue.
  • Logs all relevant information.
  • Keeps team apprised of any issue occurring during shift.
  • Completes any training deemed necessary because of system upgrades or new processes.
  • Assists with training of new computer operators (trainees).
  • Has little or no responsibility after hours, shift changes may be required because of vacation or illness of another operator.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, or equivalent required.
  • AS degree in a related discipline preferred.
