Koniag Advisory Business Solutions is seeking a Computer Operator V with a focus on customer support to join our team supporting the Oklahoma City Area Office and facilities throughout the Oklahoma City Area. This position plays a crucial role in providing advanced technical operations support for agency computer systems, servers, applications, and associated IT infrastructure. You provide advanced technical operations support for enterprise, clinical, administrative, and networked information systems in support of the Indian Health Service mission. This position is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and maintaining computer systems and peripheral equipment; ensuring scheduled production processing is completed accurately and on time; identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving system and operations issues; and supporting continuity of operations for mission-critical systems that enable patient care and administrative functions. You serve as a senior-level operator and technical resource, exercising sound independent judgment in managing system workloads, responding to alerts and outages, coordinating corrective actions, and documenting operational status. In this role, you may also provide guidance to junior operators and interface with users, technical support staff, telecommunications personnel, cybersecurity staff, and Government leadership to ensure reliable and secure IT operations. This position starts Nov 16, 2026. The Computer Operator V resolves a variety of technically challenging and difficult operating problems (e.g. making unusual equipment connections and rarely use equipment and channel configurations to direct processing through or around problems and equipment, circuits, or channels, or reviewing test run requirements and developing unusual system configurations that will allow test programs to process without interfering with ongoing job requirements ). In response to computer output instructions and error conditions to avoid loss of information or to conserve computer time, the operator deviates from standard procedures. Such actions may materially alter the computer units production plans. This operator may spend considerable time away from the control station providing technical assistance to lower-level operators and assisting programmers, system analyst, and subject matter specialists with resolution of problems.
