This is a junior-level role perfect for someone ready to build on foundational skills and grow toward intermediate proficiency in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• 1-2 years in computer operations or related field.
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be on-site during abnormal situations (essential employee status).
• Comfortable with routine tasks and following established procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Computer-related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage two production computing environments.
• Perform daily operational tasks, including Production Control Scheduling.
• Execute Initial Program Loads (IPLs) and server reboots.
• Assist with system recovery during hardware or system failures.
• Document errors and follow escalation procedures.
• Support hardware servicing and collaborate with vendors.
• Contribute to team training and process improvements.
