About The Position

The Computer Network Architect Senior supports the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) modernization of logistics applications and workflows is essential to ensuring the sustainment of surface fleet operations and aligning with broader DHS digital transformation efforts.

Requirements

• MA/MS with 10 years of experience in the conduct of in-depth and complex research, evaluations, business intelligence, and market studies to obtain information on emerging technology needs and capabilities OR BA/BS with 12 years of experience
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other MS Office Suite products.
• Strong analytical background in gathering and interpreting complex amounts of data and excellent communication skills.
• Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement computer and information networks, such as LAN, intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks.
• Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning.
• Design network and computer security measures.
• Research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.
