RMC is hiring for a Computer Hardware Engineer, Advanced who will provide support to an DoD environment at Patuxent River, MD.
The selected applicant will possess:
Performs programmatic or technical leadership roles in ananization identifying, formulating, designing and/or testing practical solutions to engineering problems and guide the engineering development of modernplex systems
Employ systems engineering methods and tools in the development of advancedplex systems and when appropriate,
Conduct research in applied systems engineering to advance the field.
Research, design, develop, or testputer orputer-related equipment formercial, industrial, military, or scientific use.
Has experience inputer systems / networks design across physical platforms, boundaries, and data transfer/transport methods.
May supervise the manufacturing and installation ofputer orputer-related equipment andponents.
May oversee or inspect the performance and quality of junior or journey level employees.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Ensure configuration control procedures are followed for all work activities.
Document maintenance, repair and test activities.
Perform DISA STIGpliance measures across multiple environments.
Requirements
Education Requirement:
A Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering related field
7 years of experience in related infrastructure network and system engineering work is required.
Certification Requirement:
The selected applicant must have DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II Certification (Security + CE equivalent, or greater).
Clearance Requirement:
An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required to start.
Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specificbination of education, kledge, skills,petencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $115,000 to $154,000 (annually).
