About The Position

Thea Energy is looking for an experienced computer graphics and visualization engineer to bringing our systems to life so the world can visualize and understand our fusion systems. You will report directly to Thea Energy leadership and engineering teams to develop the CAD models and graphics that will be turned into a reality in the near term. This role requires deep technical skills, unparalleled vision for a fusion energy future, and a speed & execution mindset coupled with extreme attention to detail. The Thea Energy team is comprised of driven, creative, and fun individuals passionate about solving complex problems.

Requirements

5+ years of relevant work experience in hardware-focused CAD modeling and graphics
Ability to design complex hardware and machinery that does not yet exist - with an ability to take ideas through to building models and visualizations
Expertise in NX, 3DS Max, or other industry standard CAD programs
Expertise in industry leading graphics visualization programs
Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to execute and flourish in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Comfortable working to aggressive deadlines
Exceptional work ethic
Strong team member with clear communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

Define and execute a vision for commercial fusion energy via visual storytelling
Produce complex CAD designs from first principals
Develop photorealistic renders and videos of Thea Energyâs fusion technologies
Create various forms of media across presentations, websites, videos, and other physical formats
Collaborate with world-leading experts to ground visualizations by rigorous scientific and engineering standards
Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
