In this role, you will be under close supervision of a degreed professional and complete routine support assignments. Your assignments are designed to develop a working knowledge of practices and procedures related to software development, computational modeling, and system integration. This is a developmental position for college interns who are pursuing an Engineering or Computer Science degree.

Requirements

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Must be a U.S. citizen
Enrolled in Engineering at an accredited college or university and completed at least one year of study
Organized and self-motivated
Able to work in a team environment
Completed at least one year of an undergraduate curriculum and maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale)

Nice To Haves

Have a working knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Operating Systems fundamentals.
Familiarity with programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or Java.
Experience or coursework related to embedded systems, parallel computing, or machine learning frameworks.
Understanding of revision control systems (e.g., Git).

Responsibilities

In support of a degreed professional, complete assignments providing software development and computational analysis support to their supervisor/mentor.
Support could range from programming, data structure analysis, debugging complex code, developing scripts, or system integration in a fast-paced environment.
Assisting in the documentation and testing of software and computer systems.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
