As a Computer Engineer II, you will be responsible for the process design and build of equipment, managing the implementation of improvement solutions, and documenting to support customer requirements for enterprise datacenter racking solutions. You will collaborate directly with customers on solution design and help train production staff on methods and processes needed to exceed customer deliverables. Additionally, you will provide automation script changes to support changes to existing integration builds by performing evaluation orders on new hardware and software required by our customer requirements. Your role will also include providing technical training support, developing, updating, and maintaining instructional documents and process instructions to assist in production within the unit, parts ordering, facility layout, etc. You will manage the implementation of improvement solutions, identify areas to improve equipment or personnel utilization on the production floor, monitor implemented solutions, and present findings to appropriate management groups as needed. Furthermore, you will update manufacturing instructions, resolve manufacturing issues, address production, design, construct and debug operations, and determine efficiency; respond to floor issues as circumstances dictate or calculate labor to production floor. You will lead teams, mentor individuals with respect to production and quality issues, metrics, and formal problem solving, and provide support to new equipment or processes development purposes.
