About The Position

The Computer/AV Technician is responsible for proactive, responsive, and customer-friendly 2nd tier computer support and repair. This role assists with the installation and maintenance of audiovisual gear, ensuring that technology-related equipment is functioning properly across the Weatherford and WCWC campuses.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent.
• Experience in a computer-related field or audiovisual technologies.

Nice To Haves

• A+ Hardware certification preferred.
• MCP preferred.
• ACDT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and deploy computers and audiovisual equipment.
• Assist users in resolving computer-related problems by providing 2nd tier support.
• Maintain technology-related equipment installed in college facilities at the Weatherford and WCWC campuses, as directed by the Client Services Manager.
• Provide training to faculty, staff, and students in the correct use of computers and audiovisual equipment.
• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and support of smart classrooms.
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of course-related software and hardware.
• Other duties as assigned by the Client Services Manager.
