The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Computer Aided Drafting CAD/CAM to support our government customer located in O'ahu, Hawai'i. The position involves providing as-built drawings for all requirements under NEC Baseline support and Mission support as required. Responsibilities include designing and building infrastructure diagrams of piping, cabling, and instrumentation, updating rack elevations, network diagrams, and butterfly/shadow diagrams, and working with the DPW team to gain access to their records and add red line changes as needed. The role also requires working independently to update existing diagrams and maintaining to-scale drawings in the current version of AutoCAD, including information such as cable vault size, maintenance hole butterflies, duct configuration, splice connections, and cable placement. Additionally, the position involves maintaining an electronic and hard copy plant-in-place (PIP) drawing library using AutoCAD and ensuring compliance with Army systems for managing and storing engineering drawings.
