About The Position

We are seeking a CT Tech to join our team as soon as possible. This position is open to local candidates and does not require an EKG exam. The ideal candidate must be ARRT(R) registered and have at least 2 years of CT experience. The role requires the ability to work independently and specifically requires experience with GE CT machines, including the GE CT580W Wide Bore 16 slice and the Optima 64 Slice. The daily census ranges from 70 to 130 exams, with a smaller volume of 20 to 30 exams occurring later in the day, from 6 PM to 6:30 AM. During the evening shift, there may be three techs on duty, but they will stagger their shifts, meaning one tech may leave at 9 PM, another at 11 PM, and one will remain alone overnight.

Requirements

• ARRT(R) registered certification.
• At least 2 years of CT experience.
• Experience with GE CT machines.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans using GE CT580W Wide Bore 16 slice and Optima 64 Slice machines.
• Work independently during evening and overnight shifts.
• Manage a daily census of 70-130 exams during regular hours and 20-30 exams during late hours.
• Start IVs as needed for CT procedures.
