  • BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
  • BLS American Heart RQI E-Card (BLS AHA-RQI ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
  • BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
  • BLS Certification Grace (BLS GRACE) - Employee Grace Period for Essential Credential (GRACE)
  • BLS Cert Red Cross (BLS RC) - Red Cross (RED CROSS)
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • No previous CT experience required.
  • Registered as a Technologist (RT) by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as required by state law.
  • Registered in computed tomography (CT) by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 1 year of hire date.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of radiology technologist experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs unassisted trauma/stroke protocols inclusive of post-processing and procedures performed at Comprehensive Stroke Centers and Trauma Centers.
  • Prioritizes clinical assignments and workflow to maintain efficient and safe patient care.
  • Serves as a preceptor to new hires and/or students (2 students and/or new hires semi-annually).
  • Serves as a clinical resource aiding in the overall education of the department.
  • Maintains proficiency with advanced post-processing inclusive of TAVR exams.
  • Performs charge responsibilities for assigned shift, as needed.
  • Participates in Departmental Committees including protocol and policy development. CT Dose committee assistance mandatory.
  • Provides peer feedback for performance evaluations.
