Position Location: East Mesa - Baywood location - Power and Broadway Schedule: PRN - scheduled as needed. No nights, weekends, or holidays Pay: $35.00 - $48.00 per hour TCC PERKS!!! Medical Benefit as low as $30.89/per pay-period Benefits begin first of the month following hire POSITION SUMMARY This position safely conducts CT and CTA testing, per IAC and ARRA Guidelines in a controlled environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of Radiologic Technology program.
  • National certification required from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(R) or ARRT(NM)) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB, CNMT)).
  • Registered by the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) in Computed Tomography (CT).
  • At least one-year related experience and/or training.
  • Current BLS certification (must be obtained in 90 days if not current)
  • All employees must be able to provide proof of their identity and their right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Performs high quality CT exams, including but not limited to, Coronary CTA and Coronary CT Calcium scores.
  • Educates patient on procedure so they feel comfortable with exam.
  • Ensure proper placement of IVs for testing. Verify, per physician orders, medication to be administered.
  • Administer contrast as needed in a safe and effective manner.
  • Administers other IV medication if test requires heart rate control.
  • Monitors patients for physiological symptoms during testing and reports to supervising physician as needed.
  • Processes high quality images and sends to radiologist and ordering physician for overread.
  • Performs quality control on CT equipment.
  • Manages supply inventory and ensures supplies are well stocked at all times.
  • Assist with IAC quality assurance monitoring and reporting for accreditation requirement.
