Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center seeks a Computational Biologist in New York, NY to provide support to research projects by designing, developing, and implementing software tools for processing and analyzing high-throughput next-generation sequencing data. This role also involves providing one-on-one consultation and training to research scientists and bioinformatics and software engineers in the use of bioinformatics software tools and databases. The individual will be responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation as part of the bioinformatics data processing and analysis system, and will design, develop, and operate software and databases within this system. Consultation and guidance to research scientists and other bioinformatics and software engineers at the Center are also key aspects of the position.
