About The Position

This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $23.10/hr. to $35.00/hr., depending on experience and qualifications. The role involves servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and related rotating equipment. You will provide detailed failure analysis and offer equipment/system recommendations to improve reliability and performance. Completing work reports, including detailed descriptions of work performed, parts lists, and other required paperwork is essential. You will maintain a service vehicle stocked with proper equipment, tools, and parts to ensure efficient, factory-approved servicing methods. Projecting a positive and professional image of Air Technologies to customers, vendors, and co-workers is crucial. The position requires applying excellent technical and mechanical skills to all tasks and performing all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Electrical and mechanical aptitude a plus.
• High school diploma or GED degree.
• Multi-craft and/or technician experience desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A self-starter and highly motivated person.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and organized work habits allowing unsupervised work.
• Commitment to the concept of 'doing it right the first time.'
• Technically knowledgeable, conscientious, detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver's license; must be able to complete a drug test and background check.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and bend for long periods repeatedly.
• Must be coachable.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and related rotating equipment.
