The Sr Compressor Mechanic will safely and efficiently perform maintenance on all equipment as directed by his/her Maintenance Supervisor. This role involves reporting to work on time, being prepared to work late when required, and turning in weekly reports to the Supervisor. The mechanic will advise the Supervisor on any changes to equipment or purchases that might need approval, maintain the vehicle in good mechanical and clean condition, and report to the Supervisor before beginning daily assignments. The position requires performing tasks in a safe and responsible manner, with a focus on preventative maintenance or work on all Kinetik equipment in plants and the field as assigned. The mechanic will also be responsible for troubleshooting and performing maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on various equipment including Caterpillar/Waukesha Engines, Ariel compressors, 5000 HP CAT Electric motors, cooler fans, valves, and electrical controls on skids.
