The Sr Compressor Mechanic will safely and efficiently perform maintenance on all equipment as directed by his/her Maintenance Supervisor. This position requires reporting to work on time or as scheduled, being prepared to work late when required, and turning in weekly reports to the Supervisor. The mechanic will advise the Supervisor on any changes in equipment or purchases that might need approval and maintain the vehicle in good mechanical and clean condition. Daily assignments must be reported to the supervisor before beginning work, and tasks should be performed in a safe and responsible manner. The mechanic is responsible for performing preventative maintenance or work on all Kinetik equipment in plants and field per work orders or as assigned by the supervisor. Keeping equipment clean and in good working condition is essential, and attendance at all safety meetings is encouraged. The compressor mechanics will troubleshoot and perform maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on various equipment including Caterpillar/Waukesha Engines, Ariel compressors, 5000 HP CAT Electric motors, cooler fans, valves on equipment and lines, and electrical controls on skids. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
