About The Position
Brandon & Clark is seeking a Compressor Helper to join our Compressors Field Service team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals eager to learn and grow in the compressor service industry. Working under the guidance of experienced technicians, you’ll gain hands-on experience in the repair, replacement, and installation of compressor equipment and systems. This role provides the foundation for a rewarding technical career—offering training, mentorship, and the opportunity to develop mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills while following the highest safety standards.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.
- Basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physically demanding work (standing, kneeling, climbing).
- Willingness to work indoors/outdoors in varying weather and site conditions.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work 40+ hours per week with occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations.

- Experience with compressors, construction, or mechanical systems a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of compressor systems.
- Learn about compressor components, functions, and operating principles.
- Safely operate and maintain tools, diagnostic instruments, and lifting equipment.
- Participate in daily job prep — reviewing job cards, gathering tools, loading materials, and organizing work areas.
- Support preventive maintenance activities including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections.
- Learn to complete basic documentation and assist with service reporting.
- Participate in daily safety meetings, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and ongoing technical training.
- Learn to use company systems such for tracking time, jobs, and training.
