About The Position

The Compressor Component Repair Tech will tear down, inspect, repair and replace a variety of compressor components. Be able to read dial calipers. Be able to read and interpret OD&ID micrometers. Recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Basic hand tool knowledge. Able to stand and operate a sand blaster. Basic machining knowledge. Basic shop maintenance and clean up. Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of mechanical shop/field experience.
  • Observes safety procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of organization.
  • Pro-active, problem-solving individual who is able to manage a varied workload with constantly changing priorities.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Successfully complete Work Steps assessment.
