About The Position
Virginia Eye Consultants and Tidewater Eye Centers are coming together under the Virginia Eye Consultants name. This collaboration enhances the patient experience and strengthens our ability to provide seamless, comprehensive eye care across the region. For decades, patients in the Virginia Beach area have trusted our physicians to protect, enhance, and preserve their sight. We provide advanced vision care in a welcoming environment where the patient always comes first. Our specialties include: LASIK & refractive surgery Cataract surgery Corneal disease & transplantation Glaucoma Dry eye disease Retina Oculoplastics Complex and advanced eye conditions Practice Model: MD/OD integrated group (7 MDs / 3 ODs) Specialty Focus: Comprehensive, refractive, cataract, anterior segment Reason for Hire: Growth and succession planning (anticipated retirement) Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday Call: Shared rotation among MDs; no hospital call required Locations: Primary office in Portsmouth, VA with satellite offices in Chesapeake and Virginia Beach Environment: State-of-the-art technology, trained scribes for clinic efficiency, and a highly skilled support staff focused on delivering an excellent patient experience
