SUMMARY: Primary job functions is to weigh dry and liquid components that produce Organosols (QSP #10) and Predispersions (QSP #06) to meet scheduled requirements in accordance with Safety and Quality Standards.

Requirements

  • Must be self-motivated, independent worker, team player and detail oriented.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, and skilled at weights and measures. Six months of previous manufacturing and forklift experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to follow written Q.S.P’S and S.O.P’S that apply to the Job Requirement.
  • Use manual and digital scales and common measuring devices in order to weigh materials such as pigments, plasticizers, stabilizers, polyvinylchloride, DIBK and xylene.
  • Handling Hazardous Waste and following procedures.
  • Operate and maintain 3 Roll Milling Equipment.
  • Filter organosols for impurities using Pump and Canister Filtration Equipment.
  • Transport material into and out of the work area.
  • Clean pumps, tanks and other equipment used in the Compounding Processes.
