About The Position
Actalent Healthcare is looking for a compounding pharmacy technician in Irving, TX! The role involves working in a closed door pharmacy, focusing on compounding and sterile IV preparations. Responsibilities include preparing, labeling, and dispensing pharmaceuticals, coordinating and scheduling the preparation of sterile mixtures, generating delivery/pick slips under the supervision of the pharmacist, and compounding sterile admixtures and non-admixtures such as parenteral nutrition, antibiotics, chemotherapy, hydration, and narcotic analgesics.
