The Compounder I role will perform all necessary tasks in the pre-weigh of raw materials, the manufacturing and processing of bulk, and the cleaning & sanitization of compounding equipment.

Requirements

  • You have a minimum of 2 years working in a manufacturing environment
  • You understand GMP and OSHA safety regulations
  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You have effective time management skills, good math skills, and mechanical aptitude
  • You have a strong attention to detail
  • You can use computers
  • You can reach, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • You can communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
  • You can use all protective and safety equipment
  • You can follow through on assignments and complete in a timely and competent manner
  • You have positive leadership and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for pre-weighing all chemicals that are required in batches.
  • You will be responsible for completing batches in a safe, timely manner with passing quality specifications.
  • You will weigh, mix, and heat materials in accordance with procedures and instructions per the given formula so that finished product will meet customer requirements.
  • You will produce bulk with use of a multiple phase batch making process.
  • You will record all production data on batch records inclusive of raw materials used, quantities and time intervals.
  • You will demonstrate ability to perform tasks efficiently and accurately
  • You understand process flow charts and ability to recognize discrepancies and conflicts
  • You can visually inspect, detect, and correct any problems with the product
  • You can efficiently manage change throughout the workday
  • You can identify any equipment issues and report to management
  • You can properly transfer material to proper kettle/mixer
  • You will clean and sanitize equipment before or after manufacturing
  • You will properly operate all the equipment in all work centers
  • You can perform tasks carefully, accurately and efficiently in accordance with specific instructions and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • You will perform other related duties as assigned
