The Compounder performs all tasks necessary to keep product available for the production lines. This multi-functional role involves mixing saline product, operating the line, checking quality, driving a fork truck/handling material, and being responsible for documentation and compliance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Read, write, and understand the English language.
  • Basic math skills including fractional / decimal equations.
  • Must be able to stand for an entire shift.
  • Must have the ability to lift, reach, squat, push, and pull.
  • Requires lifting of objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Willing to work in warm and cold environments.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift, both sit down and standing.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical aptitude is a plus.
  • 1+ year of previous compounding/mixing/blending of batches.

Responsibilities

  • Blends saline for production batches.
  • Performs machine operation for automated Saline syringe line.
  • Completes batch records with the use of GMPs.
  • Meet Production Schedule and performance metrics.
  • Sanitize production tanks and lines for manufacturing of a medical device.
  • Ability to operate a stand-up and sit-down forklift.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and sanitary environment.
