COMPOUNDER 6 SANFORD, NC COTY is looking for smart leaders who are fast and passionate. The responsibility of the Bulk Compounder 6 is to manufacture and pre-weigh bulk batches and receive raw materials, adhere to HR, S&H policies, respect GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and follow departmental procedures with respect to manufacturing, pre-weigh, and receiving, and contribute positive results to the bulk department key objectives (QA Index, GCM, S&H, RFT). Requirements

  • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of working in a Bulk Manufacturing, FDA, GMP or DEA environment.
  • Knowledge: Satisfactory knowledge in Basic Arithmetic. This will enable the employee to perform basic weighing and measuring functions. Must be able to use a calculator.
  • Basic knowledge of GCM, QA and TAR indices.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of mixing and weighing equipment
  • Basic Reading and Comprehension- Employee is required to read and comprehend bulk-manufacturing documents pertaining to the manufacture of bulk batches.
  • Write and Speak English fluently.
  • Requires a high degree of accuracy in the job performance and attention to detail.
  • Satisfactory attendance, safety record and work performance.
  • Meets the minimal requirements to obtain a valid forklift license

Responsibilities

  • Maintain schedule efficiency to meet production goals
  • Follow production schedule and work with warehouse to get orders pulled and staged.
  • Verify components.
  • Communicate objectives to the Compounders and report results to production management team.
  • Accurately Weigh/sample materials using the metric system.
  • Handling raw materials and understanding safety procedures associated with handling raw materials.
  • Stirring chemicals per written instructions.
  • Operating large scales, small balances, mixers, forklifts and other electric pallet movers and drum lifts.
  • Make suggestions for solutions to support daily results, improvement in safety, quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Ability to comprehend on-the-job training.
  • Perform room releases for GMP compliance.
  • Attend Daily Operational Reviews.
  • Ability to understand deviations, non-conformances, protocols, SOPs and other documents related to Pre-Weighing.
  • Perform activities according to CFR 21 Parts 700/701 Cosmetic General/Cosmetic Labelling.
  • Understand and follow SOPs and GMP guidelines.
  • Work effectively with a diverse “customer” group (production, operators, managers, warehousing, maintenance, quality, etc.) to understand and meet/exceed their expectations and achieve desired business results.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Perform duties at a satisfactory pace.
  • Demonstrate willingness to work reasonable overtime as required.
