About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Fabrication Specialist (Composite) to support the Composite Fabrication Team based in West Jordan, Utah. Requirements

• Typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of experience with composite layup
• 3+ years of experience in composite fabrication processes
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
• Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling and lifting

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5-S tools)
• Experience managing or working with safety, quality, and manufacturing performance data
• Experience with Contoured Tape Layup Machine
• Experience with Radius Filler operations
• Experience with AFGM processes
• Experience with Quality operations

Responsibilities

• Performs composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasks
• Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems
• Has extensive understanding of specialized aspects of the job.
• Minimal supervision
• Machine set up and operation
• Overhead crane operation
