Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Experience working directly with Microsoft Programs (Word, Outlook and Excel).

Nice To Haves

• Prior Technical Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Construction, or Engineering related fields.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Prior Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) experience in one or more of the following areas: Detailing, Estimating, Sales, Project Management and/or erection.
• Prior experience with CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Receive/generate Component orders and ensure order accuracy in a timely fashion to builders/customers.
• Build and maintain effective and profitable relationships with builders/customers.
• Coordination of component orders with internal team/external customers to ensure on time performance.
• Create sales and pricing strategies compatible with our goal of increased volume and profitability within the components department and be responsible for the successful implementation of such strategies.
• Coordinate component buyout items through Purchasing and outside vendors as required.
• Execute a scope of work 'take-off' and clearly communicate a well-defined contract document.
• Utilize Nucor standard parts and details to effectively provide solutions to our customers.
