Component Laboratory Processing Tech - Intern
About The Position
Are you looking for an opportunity to gain on the job experience and help a good cause? ImpactLife, a 501c (3) Non-Profit Organization, is looking for an intern to work in our Component Processing Laboratory. The Lab Intern will develop their science and laboratory skills while under the direction of the Component Processing and Manufacturing team. As a Lab Intern you can expect to prepare blood donor samples for testing, prepare blood components, release and label products, prepare products for shipping, perform quality control testing, and provide support to the processing laboratory. As a student intern you will serve as part of our team fulfilling our mission of saving lives through blood donations. Help us make a difference! This is a paid Internship working 30+ hours Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Pre-employment drug screen and background check are required
Requirements
- Attention to detail

- High School diploma or equivalent is required
Nice To Haves
- Current secondary education student in a science program preferred.
