About The Position

The position involves identifying sourcing opportunities in the US and low-cost regions, recommending more cost-effective and reliable products to improve the company's position to customers, and supporting product development by sourcing new technologies from qualified vendors. The role also includes driving process improvements for manufacturability and reliability, as well as reading and interpreting drawings and industry specifications.

Requirements

• Must be a US Person (US Citizen, person granted US Permanent Resident Card or any individual who is granted status as a 'protected person')
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or 4 years of related experience; Electrical Engineering preferred
• Extensive experience working in a procurement department in an operations and manufacturing field

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with risk management desired

Responsibilities

• Identify sourcing opportunities in the US and low-cost regions

• Support product development by sourcing new technologies from qualified vendors while leading the part qualification process
