About The Position

We are seeking experienced Compliance Underwriters to perform compliance reviews within TRID 3.0 and TRID 1.0 scopes, ensuring adherence to federal and state regulatory requirements. This role involves compliance underwriting, due diligence, portfolio analysis, and compliance review projects. As a Transactional Employee, work is assigned on an “as needed” basis and may vary depending on client demand. While full-time hours are expected most of the year, we cannot guarantee a 40-hour workweek. Flexibility is key.

Requirements

• 1–3 years in residential mortgage industry with familiarity of origination documents.
• Experience reviewing TRID loans originated post-10/3/2015 (Scope 1.0 and/or 3.0).
• Strong knowledge of TRID documents and compliance testing.
• Ability to review notes, mortgages, applications, appraisals, and title documents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma/GED required.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year of compliance review experience.
• Competitor experience in compliance underwriting.
• Associate or Technical Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and capture loan data from mortgage documents (e.g., Mortgage, Note, Loan Estimate, Closing Disclosure, Good Faith Estimate, 1003, appraisal).
• Analyze settlement fees for state and federal testing.
• Evaluate disclosure processes for timing, delivery, and completeness.
• Identify compliance irregularities within loan files.
• Manage workflow to meet daily volume and quality goals.
