About The Position

The Compliance Training Specialist provides educational initiatives for VCU Health System (organization-wide) to support compliance and privacy practices according to regulatory compliance standards. Initiatives to include: development, delivery and assessment of educational materials, presentations and reference materials, and collaboration with appropriate team members and departments to promote compliance and privacy initiatives or address potential concerns.

Requirements

• Three (3) years of professional work experience in adult training and staff development.
• Previous experience using a personal computer and various software applications including Microsoft applications and email.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Five (5) years of professional work experience in adult training and staff development.
• Two (2) years of work experience in healthcare compliance.
• Experience using Microsoft office design tools, learning management platform software and SharePoint.
• Experience with ADDIE model, instructional design for adult training, creating and developing training presentations, content development, and experience with Excel reports.
• Some graphic design experience.

Responsibilities
