The Compliance Technician assures compliance with contractual and documentation requirements by assisting with client case tracking, monitoring and distribution of information for compliance and monitoring, and assisting with implementation of performance improvement strategies. Reviews and monitors the quality of case files assuring compliance with contractual, regulatory and Saint Francis Ministries standards from initial referral to case closure. Tracks, monitors, and distributes essential case activity, such as, case plans and court reports to workers, supervisor and Performance Improvement Coordinator. Provides feedback and follow up on same. Reviews and monitors case plan documents assuring compliance with all DCF standards and guidelines. Conducts random and focused quality reviews of program processes, including, regular consumer satisfaction surveys and case file reads. Prepares summaries of utilization review, quality improvement, and encounter data on a regular basis and as needed, but at least monthly. Reviews files for accuracy and compliance of documentation, encounter data and gathers missing data. Assures confidentiality of all data and information. Assists in maintaining the filing of case records. Reports critical incidents to DCF verbally within 12 hours, written within 24 hours. Implements Saint Francis Ministries policies and follows directives as required. Follows and adheres to all pertinent Saint Francis Ministries Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), rules, personnel policies, and procedures; related accreditation and licensure standards; and federal, state and local rules, statutes, regulations, and contractual terms. Is knowledgeable of and follows all safety procedures. Reports unusual incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channels. Ensures clients' rights are protected.
