We are looking for a Compliance Purchasing Specialist to support our purchasing and procurement processes while ensuring everything meets company policies and government regulations. This role involves working with teams across the company and suppliers to make sure we follow all rules and standards. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are key for success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field with 8+ years of experience in procurement, compliance, or supply chain; or an advanced degree with 5+ years of similar relevant experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US Citizenship.

Nice To Haves

  • Aerospace/defense experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ITAR, FAR, and DFARS regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze risks.
  • Experience using procurement tools (e.g., SAP, Ariba).
  • Certification in procurement or compliance (e.g., CPSM, CPCM) is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Make sure purchasing activities follow company policies and government rules (e.g., ITAR, FAR, DFARS).
  • Review supplier contracts and purchase orders for compliance.
  • Work with legal, finance, and supply chain teams to resolve compliance issues.
  • Keep accurate records of supplier documents and audits.
  • Check supplier performance to ensure they meet requirements.
  • Help develop training for teams on compliance topics.
  • Evaluate suppliers to ensure they align with company policies and industry standards.
  • Stay updated on changes to laws and regulations that affect purchasing.
  • Identify risks in supply chain operations and purchasing.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Ensure purchase orders and invoices meet compliance requirements.
  • Assist with small business reporting and regulations for international operations.
