Position: Compliance Specialist Primary Responsibilities Answer and manage all incoming accident hotline calls in a timely and professional manner. Obtain a complete understanding of each incident and accurately document all relevant crash details. Communicate effectively with drivers, claimants, and internal departments regarding the status of the driver, equipment, and cargo. Notify appropriate departments and personnel as needed, including Operations, Safety, Workers’ Compensation, Breakdown, and Maintenance. Monitor accidents for FMCSA drug and alcohol testing requirements and coordinate with designated collectors when applicable. Escalate serious or complex accidents, including those involving critical injuries, to management. Review, manage, and respond to multiple email threads related to ongoing crash cases. Liaise with law enforcement and other external agencies as necessary. Preserve all relevant documents, videos, and records to support the Legal Department in preparation for potential litigation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient typing and computer skills, including experience with AS400 and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
