About The Position

Driscoll’s Compliance Specialist will play a key role coordinating and supporting Driscoll’s regulatory and compliance program and operations. This position interfaces with select Driscoll entities to facilitate the duties of this position.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or higher preferred (JD, legal studies, paralegal, compliance/regulatory, business or project management preferred), paralegal certificate or equivalent work experience a health care, hospital, managed care or other regulatory setting.
  • Ability to read and comprehend statues, laws, rules, regulations and standards.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent formatting skills. Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective credible communications across departments and personnel.
  • Demonstrates polished interpersonal skills, high energy, and flexibility.
  • Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the contract management process for DHP.
  • Provides compliance hew hire orientation and targeted training.
  • Assists with compliance education, including assisting with the development of training materials.
  • Monitors hospital compliance and regulatory mailboxes.
  • Maintains knowledge of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Prepares, drafts and reviews compliance documents. This may include policies, regulatory submissions, memos, forms, and reports. Edits written material for accuracy, format and arrangement of material.
  • Participates in work groups applicable to compliance as needed.
  • Provides support in the preparation, review and submission of regular and ad-hoc reports as needed.
  • Provides compliance review, gap assessment, and audit support as needed.
  • Performs other duties as requested or assigned.
