About The Position

The Compliance Specialist is responsible for managing DOT driver qualification files, ensuring compliance with federal guidelines, and maintaining driver credentials post-hire. This role involves constant communication with drivers, data entry, and conducting audits of driver qualification files. The position offers a hybrid work schedule and requires attention to detail and proficiency in various software applications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years of related experience or training.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Good typing and data entry skills.
• Knowledge of DOT compliance is highly desirable.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with UltraStaff and Tenstreet software.

Responsibilities

• Manage DOT driver qualification files and driver credentials.
• Review and validate all information in driver qualification files against eligibility requirements.
• Maintain driver credentials post-hire and monitor Motor Vehicle Reports.
• Conduct annual audits of DOT driver qualification files.
• Respond to unemployment claims and employment verifications.
• Maintain the drug testing program and conduct E-Verify checks.
• Communicate with drivers regarding their files and follow up on pending employment verifications.
• Answer phones and emails, and send out Adverse Action letters as required.
