About The Position

About the Role: Our Compliance Services team is seeking an experienced and motivated Analyst to facilitate daily management of client coverage and deliverables. The individual will be responsible for managing client inquiries and client support related to the functions of the outsourcing platform. The position offers direct exposure to external industry entities such as portfolio managers and trustee/custodians. The role entails partnering with other S&P business lines to drive a client focused agenda and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data manipulation and analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to identify discrepancies and investigate root causes in financial data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience managing client relationships and cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to work in a hybrid schedule 2x's a week in either Andover, MA office
  • This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.

  • Familiar with financial services, compliance, or analytical roles with exposure to data analysis and reconciliation processes
  • Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks or financial industry regulations (such as SOX, GDPR, or banking compliance standards)
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools and reporting platforms (such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar business intelligence solutions)
  • Knowledge of financial markets, investment products, or asset management operations with understanding of trade lifecycle processes

Responsibilities

  • Generate and manage daily deliverables for clients, primarily capital management firms, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of compliance services
  • Perform routine reconciliation of key data points with trustees and research variances to maintain data integrity and client confidence
  • Review and analyze compliance test results on monthly trustee reports, identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure regulatory adherence
  • Monitor cash collection, payment, and reserve accounts to ensure proper transaction processing and maintain operational excellence
  • Serve as primary point of contact for client inquiries regarding collateral attributes and transactions, facilitating cross-functional collaboration for timely resolution
  • Partner with WSO Compliance programmers on model updates and test calculations, gaining exposure to technical compliance systems and processes
