About The Position

The Compliance Risk Management Officer - VP is a senior role within Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) responsible for establishing and implementing strategies, policies, and programs to prevent legal violations and manage compliance risks. This position involves collaborating with various teams to develop compliance solutions that align with business needs while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. The officer will monitor compliance behaviors, provide guidance on compliance issues, and lead complex projects to enhance the compliance framework within the organization.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks, and typologies

Responsibilities

  • Executing initiatives that support timely and effective completion of Compliance transformation milestones
  • Managing the timely mapping of controls and policies to regulatory publications and obligations
  • Leading complex, global projects involving multiple stakeholders for senior ICRM Directors
  • Assisting with regulatory inquiries and examinations
  • Developing and administering Compliance training for the supported function/business/product
  • Researching rules and rule changes and implementing necessary policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with internal areas such as Legal, Business Management, Operations, Technology, and Finance to address compliance issues
  • Assisting with in-house system development, including UAT testing and data risk metrics
  • Participating in the design and maintenance of Compliance programs and policies
  • Analyzing data and preparing reports related to compliance risk assessments
  • Reviewing materials for compliance with regulatory and legal requirements
  • Investigating compliance risk issues and preparing documentation for regulatory inquiries
  • Overseeing adherence to Citi's Compliance Risk Policies and preparing related materials
  • Keeping abreast of regulatory changes and identifying new key risk areas
