The Compliance Risk Coordinator is a critical member of Mountain America’s Compliance Risk team that contributes to the overall implementation of the credit union’s Compliance Management System (CMS) which involves monitoring and documenting controls, and advising business units on risk. The Compliance Risk Coordinator executes compliance monitoring activities, ensures compliance procedures are identified and developed, reports and escalates issues to assigned business units, and participates in root-cause analysis and validation of remediation efforts. The Compliance Risk Coordinator acts as a primary liaison for business units to ensure the credit union maintains a strong CMS.
