About The Position

The Compliance, Quality & Risk Manager is responsible for day-to-day compliance, quality assurance, quality improvement, and risk-management activities for a single substance use disorder (SUD) treatment facility. This is a hands-on manager-level role focused on execution, coordination, and monitoring in close partnership with facility leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare-related field (required).
  • 2–4 years of healthcare compliance, quality, or risk-management experience.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and state licensing requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting QA/QI or grievance processes preferred.
  • Behavioral health or SUD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage facility-level licensing and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate incident reporting and investigations.
  • Oversee patient grievance and complaint intake, tracking, and resolution.
  • Maintain survey readiness documentation and compliance logs.
  • Support Joint Commission and state inspections.
  • Promote compliance, privacy, and quality training.
  • Partner with facility leadership on quality-improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as facility-level subject matter expert on policy and procedure
  • Review and maintain annual plans and evaluations
  • Support the facility QA/QI and QAPI programs.
  • Track, trend, and report quality, incident, and grievance data.
  • Monitor performance against KPIs and escalate risks.
  • Assist with corrective actions and improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to patient rights and grievance procedures.
  • Develop, track, and monitor Plans of Correction for effectiveness
