We have an exciting opportunity for a Risk & Compliance Professional to support Cat Technology. In this role, you will ensure compliance with the enterprise and business division's ethical standards and examine any non-compliance issues, including the evaluation and examination of the adequacy of internal controls, lead the third party intermediary coordination for the division, and focus on data privacy. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and considerable risk & compliance experience desired
Risk Management: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations
Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers
Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in risk and compliance including control testing, TPI program management, and data privacy experience.

Responsibilities

Design and implement daily procedures and review/assess activities against internal control standards
Direct and participate in the risk and compliance education of the organization, ensuring ongoing and follow up education including regulations, policies, procedures and trends
Develop and implement the third party intermediary program for the division
Be the lead contact for data privacy processing activities for the division.
Identify potential risk and compliance vulnerabilities; develop corresponding corrective action plans for resolution of these issues and provide guidance for use in future situation
