We have an exciting opportunity for a Risk & Compliance Professional to support Cat Technology. In this role, you will ensure compliance with the enterprise and business division's ethical standards and examine any non-compliance issues, including the evaluation and examination of the adequacy of internal controls, lead the third party intermediary coordination for the division, and focus on data privacy. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and considerable risk & compliance experience desired
  • Risk Management: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations
  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
  • Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers
  • Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in risk and compliance including control testing, TPI program management, and data privacy experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement daily procedures and review/assess activities against internal control standards
  • Direct and participate in the risk and compliance education of the organization, ensuring ongoing and follow up education including regulations, policies, procedures and trends
  • Develop and implement the third party intermediary program for the division
  • Be the lead contact for data privacy processing activities for the division.
  • Identify potential risk and compliance vulnerabilities; develop corresponding corrective action plans for resolution of these issues and provide guidance for use in future situation
