As a result of continued strong business performance, we are looking for a Compliance Operations Manager to help grow our amazing corporate onboarding program. The ideal candidate will play an integral part in the onboarding process of all customer relationships. The Compliance Operations Manager is responsible for collecting and reviewing all customer onboarding information and documentation and ensuring it is complete, accurate, and consistent with the Customer Onboarding Procedures. Requirements

  • Demonstrated KYC/AML experience
  • Strong communication skills

  • Demonstrated experience in working with fast-paced sales departments
  • Familiarity with Google and Microsoft products

  • Strong interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence
  • Communicates in a clear, accurate, persuasive, and confident manner

Responsibilities

  • Collect, review and analyse ‘Know Your Customer information’ and documentation in line with onboarding procedures
  • Identification of prohibited and high-risk customer industries and appropriate escalation
  • Perform screening for PEP, sanction and negative news on customers being onboarded
  • Perform standard and enhanced due diligence on new customers for multiple corporate entities
  • Be able to decipher, manage, and perform standard and enhanced due diligence on complex corporate structures
  • Lead due diligence reviews and be able to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist and lead internal Quality Assurance checks for the KYC Team
  • Identify and escalate risks and issues to management to ensure onboarding is completed correctly and efficiently
  • Management of own pipeline in line with SLA’s
  • Review of ongoing monitoring alerts
  • Complete periodic refreshers on all customers within the set timeframe
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Working directly with the customer for a smooth onboarding experience, including calls directly with the customer for support and to answer any questions
  • Assist the department manager in various tasks related to, but not limited to, working with and rolling out to the group the implementation of new controls and efficiencies
