About The Position

FanDuel is looking to add a Compliance Operations Associate to the team. As a Compliance Operations Associate, you'll execute day-to-day work across our core programs: Employee Play, Prohibited Play, Gifts & Hospitality, Conflicts of Interest, and Anti-Bribery & Corruption - with growing independence and a high bar for accuracy and timeliness. You'll deliver quality outputs for review, anticipate next steps in each process, and flag risks or blockers early. You'll also help build and refine operational workflows for emerging areas (e.g., VIP, Privacy, Dormancy, Electronic Communications Monitoring). That includes documenting guides and templates, proposing efficiency improvements, and adapting quickly to new projects and partners while staying aligned to team goals and FanDuel Principles. This role reports to the Corporate Compliance Senior Manager and sits within the Corporate Compliance function. Successful licensing with state gaming regulators may be required following employment. In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1+ years of previous experience working within a highly regulated environment: financial or similar (in a compliance function is preferred)
  • Proven process execution and a continuous-improvement mindset
  • Ability to think critically and communicate clearly and efficiently, both orally and written
  • Outstanding ability to manage projects, multi-task, prioritize, work independently and excellent organizational skills
  • An exceptional team player who shows early leadership behaviors and works hard in a fast-paced, scaling environment
  • Enthusiastic collaborator, effective with stakeholders within the company and beyond

Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day work across Employee Play, External Prohibited Play, Gifts & Hospitality, Conflicts of Interest, and Anti-Bribery & Corruption with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Deliver high-quality outputs for review, anticipate next steps, and flag risks or blockers early.
  • Partner with Corporate Compliance to operationalize new programs (e.g., VIP, Privacy, electronic communications monitoring) and document clear guides/templates, job aids, etc.
  • Prioritize critical tasks against team goals; maintain clean records and an auditable trail.
  • Draft, revise, and track policies, procedures, reference docs, trainings, and communications-incorporating feedback quickly.
  • Identify efficiency gains and help implement process improvements.
  • Adapt to new projects and teammates with minimal onboarding, applying FanDuel Principles in daily work.
  • Pitch in on ad hoc tasks and support teammates to keep work moving.
