About The Position

The Casino Compliance Officer will report directly to the Casino Compliance Manager and is responsible for assisting with the daily operation of Casino Compliance. Ensures Fort Sill Apache Properties function in a legal and ethical manner while meeting its business goals. Casino Compliance Officer is responsible for assisting in developing compliance programs and assisting in reviewing property policies

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of gaming experience.
• Strong computer skills to include effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and gaming systems.
• Strong written and oral communication skills required.
• Ability to establish priorities and organize workload.
• Must be able to work independently on assigned projects and be detailed oriented (written and oral).
• Ability to carry out assignments discreetly, effectively, and efficiently in sensitive, confidential circumstances when performing all duties.
• Knowledge of Title 31/Bank Secrecy Act.
• Compliance monitoring and/or audit experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Perform, document and report on audits related to NIGC MICS, Tribal Internal Controls, property Internal Controls, State Compact, and other policy and procedures as directed.
• Prepare written reports of findings and recommendations and complete compliance files with documentation to substantiate findings.
• Assist in compliance related audits with 3rd parties including Gaming Commission/Internal Auditors, External Auditors, and others.
• Conduct follow-up reviews on reported findings and recommendations.
• Assist in review of policy and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned by reporting manager.

• Coordinate trainings
• Ensure team members have been trained and tested for Title 31 regulation.
• Maintain confidentiality
• Be able to travel to other properties
• Be available for Table Game/Poker deliveries
• Report suspicious activity to Compliance Manager
• Conduct daily audits on Title 31
• File Title 31 reports on the Bank Secrecy Act website
• Be available for regulatory key deliveries
• Conduct daily audits on regulatory keys, reviewing the system for any unusual occurrences, key access, and the system administrator.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
