Hometown America is seeking a part-time Compliance Officer for its Palm Valley community located in Oviedo, FL. This role is essential in ensuring that the community adheres to established guidelines and maintains a high standard of appearance. The Compliance Officer will be responsible for conducting routine and annual home inspections to identify any violations related to storage, landscaping, and other community rules. This position requires thorough documentation of any violations, which will be reviewed with management and communicated to residents as necessary. The Compliance Officer will also handle administrative duties related to marina/storage and kayak areas, ensuring that all operations comply with community standards. In addition to inspections, the Compliance Officer will be tasked with sending notices to residents under management's direction and performing follow-up inspections to confirm that any identified violations have been addressed. This role requires a proactive approach, as the Compliance Officer will need to collaborate closely with the Property Manager and demonstrate reliability and initiative in completing tasks in a timely manner. The position also involves outdoor work, so the ability to endure seasonal temperatures is necessary.
