Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of experience in regulatory compliance within marketing, ideally in banking or fintech
  • Collaborative and low-ego approach, fostering positive team dynamics
  • Deep expertise in consumer financial protection regulations
  • Builder's mindset with a focus on creating structures and improving processes
  • Ability to adapt quickly to various platforms and tools
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to simplify complex concepts
  • Experience guiding teams towards compliant outcomes
  • Bias toward action with comfort in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of FINRA and SEC advertising rules is advantageous
  • FINRA Series 7 or Series 24 certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Review marketing assets and strategies, providing guidance on regulatory requirements
  • Approve marketing and advertising materials in a timely manner
  • Develop compliant solutions with bank stakeholders
  • Design and refine controls and processes for a high-quality marketing function
  • Monitor marketing assets to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance
  • Provide guidance on complex requests to drive compliant decision-making
  • Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to demonstrate compliance
  • Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned
